No, It won’t. That display was installed by one of their corporate stylists with perfect lighting, perfect corners, perfect dimensions and zero of the real-life existing conditions that you will find in your own home. Your home has character, an odd shaped layout, and quirks that require an expert to navigate in a way that will make your home look intentional – not DIY disaster.
Lie #5 “We Offer Installation!”
Nothing personal but hiring the installation teams from your big box home improvement store is a crap shoot at best. Will you get the crew with 20 years of experience who will give your project and home the respect that it deserves? Or will you get the 20 yr old who reeks of weed, confusion and possibly parole violations? Either way, the box store crews are volume based – fast in and fast out. Your home deserves someone who is a specialist in their field (interior doors, cabinets, crown molding etc) and will take the time to work precisely, plan for the little details and communicates well. Not the crew who is racing the clock to get to the next house.
