Here is an outline of what you can expect:
8am arrival – If I fire up my big saw any earlier, your neighbors will probably come after me with a pitchfork.
Pre game walkthrough – We will check that the proper materials have arrived and will review the scope of work so that there are no surprises. Please make sure that any furniture or obstructions are out of the way and that we have clear access to all of the areas needing work – the faster that we can move around, the faster that we will be out of your hair.
Initial set up – We will protect the floors in your home, set up our dust collection system and finalize our plan of attack. Typically, we start by installing all of the interior doors first, then door trim, baseboards, shoe molding, window trim or crown molding. We are a well-oiled machine that moves fast, but don’t be afraid to ask us questions – we pride ourselves on having clear and open communications throughout the process.
Communication – If your project is scheduled to take multiple days, you can be sure that I will be checking in with you regarding updates, how we are resolving any issues we may run across, what to expect in terms of scope of work to be completed each day and when we will be completed with the project.
Final – On the final day of installation, we will double check the scope of work to ensure that we haven’t forgotten any tasks, pick up our toys and clean up our mess. Rest assured I am NOT an electrician, so I am not afraid to use a broom! Once we have unveiled your new space, we will give you a final walkthrough to verify that everything has been completed to your satisfaction, collect final payment and humbly submit that you give us an honest Google review.
